Pilates

Pilates is very similar to Yoga but emphasizes your body’s core. This includes your abdomen, obliques, lower back, inner and outer thigh, buttocks and the like.

It’s because of this focus on the core that Pilates is great at developing key physical characteristics needs to perform effective exercises – strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination, balance and good posture.

As opposed to going out for full on ‘burn’ of the muscles, Pilates emphasizes good form. It teaches you to think about how you use your muscles during a workout so you can use them better in everyday life. For instance, you’ll soon be standing and sitting taller and walking more gracefully.

Who Should Take Pilates Classes?

Various levels of Pilates suit different people. It’s important to know that this class if very different to aerobic classes or working out in the gym. It takes a high level of concentration and focus to conquer the moves.

The East 9 holes (back 9 holes) will be closed on the following dates for renovation works: 14th, 15th, 16th, 21st,22nd,23rd,28th,29th and 30th Sept”. On these days to play 18 holes you will play the North 9 holes twice.

Greens renovation works are taking place on 21st and 22nd Sept and 5th and 6th of October. This will effect the putting surfaces for a period of time.
